Northern District Police are seeking information from the public after thieves targeted electrical equipment during a break-in at Edinburgh North overnight.
Between 11.45pm last night and 12.15am this morning 21 April, thieves have entered a warehouse on Hooke Road and stolen a quantity of electrical equipment including, laptops, smart phones and tablets, plus gaming consoles.
Police are asking for anyone with information on the theft including person or vehicles seen in the area at the time of the theft, or any information on persons offering cheap electrical appliances similar to the ones stolen mentioned, to please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
All the items stolen have unique serial numbers which can be easily traced to the theft.
Police also wish to remind the public that it is a criminal offence to buy goods that are stolen or suspected of being obtained unlawfully.
