Warm up your winter: Casey

The Winter Arts Festival continues this month, with something for people of all ages, including workshops, exhibitions, performances, activations and digital works.

Now in its 21st year, the festival is being held at venues across Casey until Sunday 30 August, with events either free or low cost. Events include:

Nesian Fest 2.0

Friday 28 July, 7.00 pm – 10.00 pm

Bunjil Place Studio

Join us as we support our young local Maori and Pasifika artists in the south east. Hear the stories of these young Polynesian creatives as they express themselves through spoken word, rap, music and dance. Maui’s snack bar will be in the plaza serving up tasty Polynesian food and drinks all night.

Casey Philharmonic Orchestra: Villains and Superheroes

Sunday 30 July, 2.30 pm

Bunjil Place Theatre

Join Casey Philharmonic Orchestra as we play some of the most exciting movie themes of all time, and more. Prizes for audience costumes, photo zone, give aways and family fun. One show only so don’t miss out.
