Wingecarribee Shire
Wingecarribee Shire is among a number of Local Government areas included in having its waste levy fee temporarily lifted by the NSW Government.
It is to help the community with the costs of cleaning up, following the recent downpour and flooding in some areas, and for residents to get back on track, as soon as possible.
This waiver will be in effect until 30 June 2024.
Local residents who have suffered significant damage at their properties due to the extreme weather, can now dispose of their flood-damaged waste without having to pay the State based Waste Levy, lowering the cost, at our Moss Vale Resource Recovery Centre during opening days and times.
