NT Government

The temporary waste management site established at Hidden Valley following Tropical Cyclone Fina will remain open longer to support ongoing clean-up efforts.

The site will stay open to the public until 6pm on Sunday 7 December 2025.

Residents from any local government area can drop off green waste only at the Hidden Valley Raceway carpark (171 Hidden Valley Road) between 7am and 6pm daily.

This extension aims to assist both residents and commercial operators as recovery operations continue.

Residents are reminded that Shoal Bay Waste Management Facility is open and accepts General Waste Only.

Archer Waste Management Facility (Palmerston) is open to the public.

Litchfield Council Waste Transfer Stations are open and operating as normal.

Normal rubbish bin collections by councils are operating as normal.
