The newly refurbished West Hawthorn Preschool is officially open.
The former single room preschool received a $1 million upgrade to transform it into a state-of-the-art, two-room facility with a modern outdoor play area. The Victorian Government contributed $500,000 funding to the project.
This expansion means the preschool can accommodate an additional three-year-old kindergarten group at the facility and deliver services to over 80 families.
The preschool was officially opened by Mayor of Boroondara, Councillor Garry Thompson and Glenferrie ward Councillor, Wes Gault. Watch the virtual launch below.
