Western Australia coronovirus update as at 11 December

The Department of Health has today reported two new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia, bringing the State’s total to 834.

The confirmed cases – two males, one aged in his 40s and one in his 60s – travelled to Perth from overseas. They are both in hotel quarantine.

WA Health is monitoring 12 active cases and 813 confirmed cases have recovered from the virus in WA.

Yesterday 551 people presented to WA COVID clinics – 544 were assessed and 542 were swabbed.

There have been 581,566 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 95,915 were from regional WA.
