Western Australia coronovirus update as at 16 January

The Department of Health has today reported two new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia, bringing the State’s total to 886.

The confirmed cases – two men in their 40s – returned to Perth from overseas and are in hotel quarantine.

WA Health is monitoring 15 active cases and 862 people have recovered from the virus in WA.

Yesterday 2,082 people presented to WA Health-managed COVID clinics – 2,074 were assessed and swabbed.
