Western Australia coronovirus update as at 9 January

The Department of Health has today reported one new case of COVID-19 in Western Australia, bringing the State’s total to 875.

The new case is a woman in her 30’s who is in hotel quarantine and is related to overseas travel.

WA Health is monitoring 17 active cases and 849 people have recovered from the virus in WA.

Yesterday 3,235 people presented to WA Health-managed COVID clinics – 3,205 were assessed and 3,297 were swabbed.
