WA Health is reporting a total of 2,210 new cases to 6pm last night. There are currently 11,964 active cases in Western Australia.
Latest figures from overnight show there were 267 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 7 in ICU.
Sadly, today’s report includes nine deaths, which were reported to WA Health yesterday – dating back to 25 July – a man and a woman in their 90s; two women in their 80s; two women in their 70s; two women and a man in his 60s.

Of the 2,210 cases, 775 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 1,435 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total of 4,459 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 1,112,078 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
