Wheelie bad driving at Kilburn

An Ingle Farm man has been reported for drink driving after police found him this morning at Kilburn driving a car with only two tyres on his vehicle.

Just before 4.30am on Thursday 21 May, a police patrol spotted a man driving a white Mitsubishi Lancer travelling along Churchill Road, with no front passenger’s side wheel on the car.

When stopped and on further inspection of the three wheeled car, the Lancer was also missing the rear passenger’s side tyre, with just the rim running on the road

The driver a 28-year-old man from Ingle Farm was breath tested allegedly returning a blood alcohol reading of 0.143 or nearly three times over the legal limit of 0.05.

He was issued with a six month instant loss of licence and had his two tyred, one rim, one wheel missing, white Mitsubishi Lancer (pictured) was impounded for 28 days.

The Ingle Farm man will be summonsed to appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court a date to be set.
