Police are appealing for information and dashcam vision after a single vehicle crash on Saturday in the state’s south west.
About 10.40pm (Saturday 23 January 2021), officers from Murray River Police District were called to Olympic Highway, Henty, near Railway Parade, following reports a Nissan Tiida had hit a tree.
A 27-year-old male driver managed to free himself from the wreckage. The two passengers, a 22-year-old man in the front and 21-year-old man in the rear where trapped in the car for a short time before being assisted by members of the public.
Emergency services arrived and the three men were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics.
The 22-year-old man was taken to Albury Hospital before being air lifted to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition.
The other two men were taken to Wagga Wagga Hospital is a serious but stable condition.
Officers from the Crash Investigation Unit attended and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Anyone with dashcam vision or who may have witnessed the crash and not yet spoken to police is urged to come forward.
