A police operation is underway after a woman fell from a lookout 25km west of Nowra this morning.
Emergency services were called to a lookout at McKenzie’s Saddle Walking Track at Buangla, about 11.45am (Monday 2 October 2023).
Officers attached to South Coast Police District and Police Rescue attended as well as the TOLL rescue helicopter; the body of a woman was found a short time later about 50m below the lookout.
An operation is now underway by Police Rescue to retrieve her body.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
