A woman has died after her car collided head-on with a truck in the state’s Northern Tablelands yesterday.
About 6.15pm (Friday 20 March 2020), emergency services were called to the Oxley Highway, near the town of Walcha Road, following reports of a two-vehicle crash.
The 46-year-old female driver of the car died at the scene.
The male truck driver was uninjured and was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers from Oxley Police District established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
