Collect three limited-edition $2 coins via cash change from 15 to 29 July.
A different sport-themed design will be released each week for three weeks.
1 July 2026: Woolworths and the Royal Australian Mint are celebrating the 2026 Australian Commonwealth Games team by releasing three limited-edition collectible coins.
From Wednesday 15 July, Woolworths customers paying in cash will be able to collect the exclusive $2 coins in their change. New coin designs will be landing in cash tills each week across a three-week period.
Designed by the Royal Australian Mint, the coins feature unique illustrations celebrating the dedication of Aussie athletes. The weekly release schedule includes:
Week one (from 15 July): Gymnastics
Week two (from 22 July): 3×3 Wheelchair Basketball
Week three (from 29 July): Athletics

The coins are strictly limited edition and will only be available via change at most Woolworths registers while stock lasts.
