Works complete on Bobundara Road

Bobundara Rd Upgrade

Construction on Bobundara Road funded under the NSW Government Safer Roads Program is complete and the road is re-open to the public.

The road runs south from Berridale through to Maffra Road at Bobundara and serves as an important rural link for many in our region.

This project has delivered important safety improvements including the installation of guardrails, signage (including Curve Alignment Markers), and drainage improvement works. Guardrails have been installed in seven locations between Arable Road and Black Range Road, each measuring 100m.

Work on Bobundara Road is part of a broader program of works funded under the NSW Government Safer Roads Program, delivering safety improvements to Numeralla Road, The Snowy River Way and Barry Way.

All works are expected to be complete by June 2023, along with Countegany Road that has already been completed.

This project was completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the funding agreement between Snowy Monaro Regional Council and Transport for NSW.

Council would like to thank the community and the road users for their patience while changed traffic conditions were activated that ensured the safety of staff undertaking works and that of motorists travelling along Bobundara Road.
