  • Youth Week WA 2027 to be held from 16 to 23 April 2027
  • Expressions of interest for 2027 Youth Week WA Ambassadors now open for young people aged 18-25
  • Ambassadors play an important role in promoting Youth Week WA and representing their peers
  • Young people invited to submit ideas for the theme and vote on the design direction of Youth Week WA 2027

The Cook Labor Government is calling on young people across Western Australia to get involved in Youth Week WA 2027, with expressions of interest to become a Youth Week Ambassador now open.

Each year, four Youth Week Ambassadors are selected to become a voice for their peers, and support planning, promotion, and delivery of Youth Week WA events.

Ambassadors can come from any region of Western Australia and will get the chance to develop leadership skills, build confidence, and be the public faces of Youth Week WA.

Young people are also encouraged to share their ideas for the direction of Youth Week WA 2027, with the annual Theme and Design Competition now open.

As part of the free competition, young people can submit an original theme idea that reflects the diversity, perspectives, and creativity of young people across WA.

The winning theme will be chosen by the 2027 Youth Week WA Ambassadors and the Ministerial Youth Advisory Council.

Youth Week WA is the largest annual celebration of young people aged 10-25 in WA and celebrates the positive contributions they make to their communities across the State.

Applications to become a Youth Week Ambassador or submit a theme and vote on the design concept for Youth Week WA 2027 close on Monday, 3 August. For more information, visit Youth Week WA .

As stated by Youth Minister Hannah Beazley:

“Youth Week WA 2027 will be a wonderful celebration of our young people, and it is essential that they are at the centre of its planning, design, and delivery.

“This year’s Youth Week Ambassadors Regina, Alessia, Josh, and Maeson played an instrumental role in the celebrations and helped deliver a very successful week of events.

“I can’t wait to see what ideas are proposed for next year’s Youth Week WA theme, and I encourage all young Western Australians to consider getting involved, either as an Ambassador or through submitting an idea for the theme.”
