Your Best Shot At Stopping Flu

An additional session exclusively for flu vaccines is scheduled for this Saturday, 20 April from 8:45 am to 10:30 am at the Bayside City Council Corporate Centre, located at 76 Royal Avenue, Sandringham.

The Victorian government funds influenza vaccine for all children aged 6 months (the earliest you can have it) to less than 5 years, and people between 5 and 65 who are medically at risk or those over 65 are also funded to receive the flu vaccine for free.

Healthy individuals not in the funded cohort can purchase the flu vaccine at the session.

Flu strains change from year to year which means vaccines may also be updated, so it is important to get vaccinated every year.

How long does it take?

This depends on how many people are attending the session. We ask that you wait 15 minutes following the immunisation.

What to bring to your session
