Zahli is a capable student who always applies herself to all learning tasks, works at a high standard and is involved in all aspects of her school and sporting communities.

Zahli sporting achievements include:

Captaining Western PSSA Rugby 7’s and awarded player of the carnival in Maitland in September 2022.

Cricket – being named as part of the western PSSA and western zone u14’s and playing with Cavaliers U14s in the grand final.

Rugby league -captaining u12s Vipers, who won the competition, was the leading try scorer for her age group and named player of the grand final.

Representing her school in touch footy, league tag, cricket and rugby

Zahli needed to change codes from league to union once turning 12 and has risen to this challenge; co-captaining the Orange City Junior Rugby Union Club u14s team and being part of the Central West Rugby Union 14s country side who finished 2nd in the Country Championships.

Zahli’s demonstration of resilience and her continuation to strive and take on what has been male dominated sports, is an excellent example of a strong and committed role model for all girls.

Congratulations Zahli!
