Four teenage boys have been arrested after they allegedly robbed service stations at Unley and Glenside overnight.
Just before 3am on Thursday 29 August, four youths entered a service station on King William Road, they allegedly threatened the console operator demanding cigarettes. The youths left after being handed a carton of cigarettes and stealing bars of confectionery.
Then just after 3.30am, the same group of four youths walked into a service station of Greenhill Road, they allegedly threatened the console operator with a pair of scissors, once again demanding cigarettes. They fled with one packet of smokes, numerous lighters and several bars of chocolate and confectionery.
They were last seen running south down Conyngham Street.
Nearby police patrols quickly set up cordons in the area and called in a police dog patrol to assist in the search. Patrol officers followed a trail of cigarette lighters, and chocolate bars to locate two suspects. While PD Marley tracked the other two suspects finding them not far from the scene near Pine Close .
Patrols recovered all the stolen good including the pair of scissors.
The four boys aged, 17 from Linden Park, 16 from Parkside and Hillcrest and 15 from Linden Park have been arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, they are currently being processed with
