Advice for Cross Border Community Members, South Australia

Under the current Cross Border Travel – Associated Direction No 14, Victorian Cross Border Community Members are not restricted in their movements within South Australia, unless they have been in the Greater Melbourne or City of Bendigo Regions in the past 14 days. They are required to have a current Cross Border Travel Registration form which can be obtained at https://www.police.sa.gov.au/online-services/cross-border-travel-application.

Victorian Residents and South Australians travelling into Victoria should comply with current Victorian restrictions which are

Stay at home unless:

  • Shopping for necessary goods and services
  • Caregiving for compassionate reasons
  • Authorised work or permitted education or work interstate
  • Exercise (up to 2 hrs with one other person or member of your household)
  • Receive a vaccination

In regards to permitted education a Cross Border Community member can enter South Australia for the purposes of ongoing education and childcare, within the Cross Border community.
