Allens has advised the Great Barrier Reef Foundation on a 10-year investment from the L’Oréal Fund for Nature Regeneration.
The investment will help fund the development of an innovative method of calculating the value of coral reef biodiversity, which is expected to stimulate a market for nature rehabilitation and spur additional funding to safeguard reef ecosystems. The project will be a global leader in the reef restoration industry and provide opportunities to investors looking to help safeguard and restore reef biodiversity from the growing impacts of climate change and other threats.
