Appeal after armed robbery at Campbelltown, NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Campbelltown overnight.

About 8.30pm (Thursday 10 September 2020), emergency services were called to supermarket on The Kraal Drive, Blair Athol, after receiving reports of an armed robbery.

Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command attended and were told a man armed with a silver handgun threatened two employees before leaving the scene with a sum of money.

He was last seen running towards on The Kraal Drive.

Both employees were shaken but not injured during the robbery.

A crime scene was established and as inquiries continue, police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

He is described as being as being 175cm to 180cm tall, slim build, wearing a black long-sleeved Nike spray jacket, dark navy track pants, white joggers, a blue medical face mask and wearing dark sunglasses.

Anyone who may have information, dashcam or CCTV from the area and its surrounds at the time of the incident are urged to contact Campbelltown Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
