Appeal after sexual touching, NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance after a sexual touching incident in Merrylands today.

About 2.55pm (Friday 25 March 2022), police were told a man sat next to a 13-year-old boy at a bus stop on Blaxcell Street and sexually touched him.

The boy and man then got on the same bus before the man continued to speak to the boy and make lewd comments.

The boy exited the bus at Granville Railway Station and reported the incident.

Officers attached to Police Transport Command Northwest attended and commenced an investigation

As inquiries continue, police have released an image of a man who may be able to assist.

The man is described as being of Mediterranean/ Middle Eastern appearance, aged in his 40s, of solid build, with a bald head. He is depicted wearing a black ‘Everlast’ t-shirt, black track pants, and black sneakers.
