Mornington Peninsula Shire’s new online Community Directory has just launched, making it the perfect time for your not-for-profit group, club or social service to get online and get the visibility you deserve.
Replacing the former MP Community site, our user-friendly Community Directory features listings of the many health, welfare, crisis and emergency support services, sports and recreation groups, community organisations and more that service the Mornington Peninsula.
As a free community resource, our Community Directory gives residents and visitors an easy way to find local groups and services that operate on a not-for-profit basis. Your inclusion will help to provide a broad view of the different organisations, clubs and services that play a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our community.
You’ll find listings for everything – from opportunity shops, historical societies, cancer support groups and dog obedience, through to drug and alcohol support, gambling help, wildlife and conservation groups, walking groups and more.
So whether you’re a local not-for-profit offering mental health, employment, financial or housing services, or you’re a part of a sporting club, special interest group or faith-based organisation that’s looking to attract new members, be sure to add your listing today.
Listings are simple to create and completely free! You can also update your details at any time.

Don’t have access to a computer? Call our Community Development team on 1300 850 600 or visit our Libraries and we’ll help you to create a listing for your not-for-profit club, organisation or service.
NEW print edition
To coincide with the launch of our new online Community Directory, we’ve created a printed version of the Directory. You can pick one up from Mornington Community Support Centre, Western Port Community Support, and Southern Peninsula Community Support.
To make sure your listing appears in our next printed edition, be sure to add your details to our online Community Directory – as this forms the basis of our printed edition.
Quotes attributable to Mayor Councillor Simon Brooks:
“Not-for-profit community groups, organisations and clubs are often the unsung heroes of our community, yet they play a critical role in the health and wellbeing of our society.
“If you’re a local community group or service with little-to-no digital presence, a listing in our online Community Directory will give people a way to find you and to connect.”
