Be inspired and head to Venue 114 for the book launch of Stories of HOPE Australia

Sunshine Coast Council

These stories will change the way you think and let you know that no matter what you are going through, there is always hope.

Kerrie Atherton, founder of Stories of HOPE Australia and EMPOWER Life Solutions, has been working with individuals and families for many years, helping them through traumatic events in their lives and empowering them through counselling, therapy and community connection to find healing, purpose and hope.

Two years ago, Kerrie founded Stories of HOPE Australia and has run free monthly events for those in our community who are experiencing hard times in life.

Not only have these events touched those present on the nights, but the message of hope has rung out far beyond reaching thousands each month via media and social media.

It has also given a voice and purpose to many of the speakers who have shared their stories for the first time with many going on to have the desire to spread their own messages of hope far and wide.

Kerrie’s mantras of “don’t do life alone” and “together is better” are evident in everything she does.

Her book is a compilation of her own story as well as the stories of 11 of the inspirational speakers who have shared at her events.

Tickets are $23 per person. Online bookings or call 5413 1400 (phone charges do apply).

Venue 114, formerly known as Lake Kawana Community Centre, is located at 114 Sportsmans Parade, Bokarina. Event parking is free and public transport is available nearby.
