Perth Detectives are seeking information regarding an incident on Reid Highway, in Bennett Springs, which occurred today, Wednesday 27 September 2023.
About 1:50am, police were called in relation to a possible crash and an altercation taking place between a group of people on the west bound lanes of Reid Highway, between Altone Road and the off-ramp to Tonkin Highway.
Police attended the scene, however no one was located. Some debris and other items of interest were located at the reported location.
About 3:00am, police became aware of two males who had presented at Joondalup Health Campus. One of the males is in a critical condition.
At this time, it is being investigated whether the injured males are linked to the incident in Bennett Springs.
Anyone with information regarding this incident, who was driving on Reid Highway and has dash-cam vision of any vehicles or people stopped on the side of Reid Highway in the Bennett Springs area between 1:30am and 2:00am, is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
