Boosting our Population through NT Higher Education Grants

The Territory Labor Government is strengthing the Territory’s skills base, and helping keep Territory students in the NT by offering Higher Education Study Grants to those undertaking their first undergraduate degree in the NT.

There are 20 higher education grants available in the 2020 program.

Valued at $5,000 the grants are used to assist students for much needed items such as textbooks and laptops, as well as contributing to course fees here in the Territory.

The grants are also used as an incentive to encourage NT students to stay in the Territory and harness their skills base here.

Higher Education Grants are aimed at supporting our local graduates and create industry diversification and population growth in the NT.

The Northern Territory will soon be known as a local and international student hub with the construction of the new Charles Darwin University CBD campus – creating an attractive city for students to stay, learn and work.
