Police have arrested Brendan Searle following an incident in Boronia last weekend where a firearm was discharged at police.
Searle handed himself in to police at the Victoria Police Centre on Spencer Street about 4.40pm this afternoon.
He will now be interviewed by detectives from the Armed Crime Squad.
A public appeal was made for information regarding Searle’s whereabouts following the incident on Boronia Road, Boronia on Saturday 6 November.
Police would like to thank members of the public and the media for their assistance.
