Bryan Green back on board for Labor 08 December 2023

Tas Labor

Former Tasmanian Deputy Premier Bryan Green is set to make a comeback and will stand as Labor candidate for the Legislative Council seat of Prosser at the next election.

Bryan Green was an outstanding Labor Party Leader and Member of the House of Assembly from 1998 until he stepped down before the 2018 election.

Having worked closely with Bryan I know firsthand the extraordinary work ethic he will bring to the Parliament.

Bryan has been motivated to put his hand up because he knows the people of Prosser need someone who can get things done for them and who can make a real difference on the key issues of cost of living, health and housing.

Bryan lives in the electorate and runs his own business, Twin Lakes Bush Retreat and Fly Fishery, which has given him firsthand experience of the tourism and hospitality industries – as well as an excellent grasp of the challenges small businesses face.

Bryan is an active community member in Buckland and Nugent – and is involved in the local fire brigade, the Nugent hall committee and as chair of a group of locals who successfully fought to save the Buckland church.

He is motivated and enthusiastic about delivering for his community and I know he will be a great asset, not only for the people of Prosser but also for the Labor team.

I am excited to welcome Bryan back to the team and look forward to campaigning alongside him to win the seat of Prosser for the Labor Party.
