Roads Update
Flood damage work, along with our normal program of road maintenance and improvement for roads, drains etc., is ongoing around the Shire.
As we move towards ending these Flood Recovery Updates, information on major flood damage projects will shortly be posted to the website and updated regularly.
At this point we are thinking regularly will mean monthly, keeping in mind that work in the hinterland areas will take many months, even years.
In the next edition of the Flood Recovery Update, we will post the links to key roadwork and infrastructure information.
Work on the landslip at Huonbrook started last Friday and contractors have been cracking on with the job of getting basic road access to those residents who are still isolated.
