Northern Territory Police and Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service (NTFRS) Investigators are calling for information in relation to a large bushfire at Darwin River yesterday.
Bushfires NT, NTFRS and Police responded to the bushfire on Leonino Road just before 1pm as part of a large scale multi-agency response. A large area was burnt, and structures and vehicles were damaged.
The cause of the fire is being treated as suspicious.
Investigators are appealing for information from anyone who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour in the area or may have dash cam footage to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 and quote reference number 10422084.
