Police are seeking help from the public to identify the man pictured below following an incident in Hillbank.
Just after 4.30pm on Monday 28 March police were called to Highfield Drive after reports a white Toyota Celica mounted the footpath and crashed through the front yard of a house, hitting a tree.
At the time a bus was dropping school children off in the street.
The vehicle continued driving and was later found abandoned on Carman Close.
Witnesses reported that the driver ran from the scene.
Luckily no one was injured.
Checks on the vehicle showed it had been stolen earlier that day from Elizabeth Downs.
Investigators have obtained CCTV which shows the pictured running from the vehicle.
