Cannington Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to an attempted armed robbery that occurred about 9.20pm on Sunday, 25 July 2021.
A man believed to be in his 20s and wearing a red hoodie was walking on Cecil Avenue (near Sevenoaks St) causing a blue Toyota Yaris hatchback to stop. The man approached the vehicle and hit the windscreen with what is believed to have been a firearm.
The female driver of the Yaris was able to drive away from the man.
