Capture nature in Macarthur Nature Photography Competition

Photography enthusiasts are encouraged to capture their stunning images of the region’s beautiful landscapes, plants and animals in the Macarthur Nature Photography Competition.

The competition is hosted by Campbelltown, Camden and Wollondilly councils and there’s $3,000 in prizes up for grabs.

Competition categories include Australian Plants, Australian Animals, People Helping the Environment, and Water in the Landscape.

Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr George Greiss encouraged residents of all ages and skill levels to take part in the competition.

“We’re lucky to live in a region that is home to an abundance of bushland, filled with native plants and animals,” Cr Greiss said.

“The Macarthur Nature Photography Competition is highly anticipated every year and it’s always great to see the amazing pictures photographed by talented local people and students,” he said.

The competition closes on Friday 7 October 2022.
