Central West Libraries rolls out One Library One Book program for 2023

Orange Council

Central West Libraries has rolled out its One Library One Book community reading program this month with the heartfelt, funny and uplifting debut novel The Wakes by Australian author Dianne Yarwood, which is set to be made into a television series.

The innovative program takes the traditional book club concept to the next level by encouraging people across the region to read and discuss the same book at the same time.

Orange City Council’s Services Policy Committee Chair, Cr Mel McDonnell said readers should grab a copy and join in the biggest book club in the Central West.

“It offers local booklovers the opportunity to share their love of reading with people outside their normal reading circle,” Cr McDonell said.
