Visitors to Challenger Street Reserve are being asked to avoid using the dam within the reserve, which is undergoing testing by the Environment Protection Authority for potential blue green algae.
Until further notice, please do not swim, fish or allow pets to enter or drink the water. Signage is being installed around the lake to advise park users.
Council is continuing to monitor the situation and will provide updates when we receive further information.
