The City of Perth today had the pleasure of hosting the Commander and crew of HMAS Perth.
The City and HMAS Perth have enjoyed a special relationship over the years and today marks a reconnection of that relationship.
It is actually rare for a ship to be home ported in the City of the name of the ship!
HMAS Perth was conferred the Freedom of Entry to Perth in October 2008 and this is one of the most honourable distinctions a City can bestow.
