Kempsey Shire Council will be refurbishing the Clybucca Water Reservoir, beginning early September 2023, with the project estimated to be completed by February 2024.
The Clybucca Reservoir provides drinking water for Clybucca residents.
The refurbishment involves re-coating inside and outside surfaces of the reservoir to prevent corrosion, ensuring a longer life for this important asset.
During the refurbishment process, drinking water for Clybucca residents will be provided from an alternative Kempsey Shire reservoir.
During this time you may notice a change to your normal water pressure and unfortunately the proposed works will generate noise and involve heavy vehicle movements to the site.
Council regrets this interruption however the works are necessary to maintain the quality of drinking water to the area into the future.
