Construction has begun on a new social housing complex in Rockhampton, which includes eight one-bedroom and two two-bedroom units.
The complex includes two units built to platinum standard and one built to gold standard of the Livable Housing Guidelines, designed for older people and those with higher mobility needs.
The project is part of the Palaszczuk Government’s record investment in social and affordable housing – the largest investment in Queensland’s history – to help deliver 14,100 homes.
