Corporate Plan for 2022-26 is now available

The Clean Energy Regulator’s 2022-26 Corporate plan was published on Monday 29 August 2022.

The Corporate Plan outlines who we are, what we will do, and how we will measure our performance in achieving our purpose of accelerating carbon abatement for Australia over the next four financial years.

Highlights include:

  • How CER is meeting its purposes and achieving its objectives with a specific emphasis on a 43% reduction in greenhouse gases by 2030 and net zero emissions by 2050.
  • CER’s contribution toward reaching net zero is through taking a leading role in the development of a rapidly growing, robust and transparent carbon market.
  • How CER continues to improve agency systems, tools and processes to further its flexibility in responding to ongoing changes within the scheme, policy and business environments.
  • How CER is continuing to build relationships with a wide range of external stakeholders along with ongoing commitment toward the development of staff to meet existing and future challenges.
