About 2000 people have already submitted responses to Council’s more comprehensive community consultation campaign.
The Our Cairns surveys were launched on 28 August and are supported by a six-week campaign that includes visits to shopping centres, schools, local parks and markets.
As of 1 September, 1,625 surveys had been completed, with over 205 youth surveys submitted.
Both surveys can be done online at www.cairns.qld.gov.au/ourcairns, with the overall survey also available in printed version at Council libraries and customer service centre. Surveys close on the 16 October 2020.
