Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was allegedly involved in four crashes in Ashgrove, Paddington and Kelvin Grove on the afternoon of 5 June 2026.
It is alleged at approximately 2.10pm a white Toyota Rukas was involved in a traffic crash on Kelvin Grove Road between Gibb Street and Glen Street, where it sideswiped a white Mazda BT-50 and fled the scene.
At around 2.15pm, it’s alleged the same Rukas was involved in another traffic crash with a red Chery Tiggo on Caxton Street in Petrie Terrace.
Shortly after, at 2.20pm, the vehicle was seen driving on Latrobe Terrace in Paddington, where it allegedly failed to stop at a pedestrian crossing and drove on the wrong side of the road.
A third crash occurred around 2.25pm, when the Rukus was travelling north along Jubilee Terrace in Ashgrove and allegedly collided with a white Volkswagen Golf travelling east on Waterworks Road.
It’s further alleged that at approximately 2.30pm the Rukas was found crashed into a light pole on Elimatta Drive in Ashgrove.
Police located the alleged male driver a short distance away and investigations remain ongoing.
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with relevant dashcam or vision to come forward.
