Dayne Beams Medal Raises $27,500 for Bushfires

Collingwood’s Dayne Beams 2010 AFL Premiership Medal sells for $27,500 at auction overnight.

The #17 from the Collingwood Magpies will donate all proceeds from this item to the Country Fire Authority Victoria.
“We are very excited about the funds raised for the Bushfires from Dayne Beams premiership medal he donated and we have spoken to him and he is extremely happy,” said Mr. Lee Hames, Chief Operations Officer for Lloyds Auctions.
In the first auction of the series of Bushfire Relief Auctions hosted by Lloyds, Lee Hames applauded the result saying that “it’s a great indication of what’s to come in the next series of online auctions on our site.”
“This item has achieved a fantastic result showcasing the generosity of Australians, and I look forward to more stories like these with many more special items up for grabs from other sporting greats,” he continued.
“The enquires are flooding in both for donating goods and bidding online with over 130 lots now ready for people to bid now,” said Mr. Hames.
The auctions to come over the next few weeks have a wide range of items from sporting and motoring memorabilia, to pink and yellow diamonds, artworks from famous artists, experiences and services.
“This afternoon we published auction number 3 which will end on the 15th of January which contains items from mattresses, pallet racking, paddle boards, watches, dash cameras, wireless chargers with more items to be added,” Mr. Hames continued.
