Decptions as a result of a theft in Wollert

Whittlesea Detectives are seeking assistance to identify an offender for a series of alleged deceptions in the northern suburbs during May.

Investigators have been told a white Mazda 3 was broken into on Tindales Road, Wollert overnight on 23 May, and a handbag stolen.

It is believed the stolen credit cards from the handbag were used at several service stations and convenience stores in the early hours of the morning, between approximately 2.30am and 5.15am.

The credit cards were used at service stations on Mahoneys Road, Thomastown and on Cooper Street, Epping.

They were also used at two convenience stores on Main Street, Thomastown and High Street, Epping,

Police have released an image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
