Police are investigating a deliberately lit fire which destroyed a house at Claremont last night.
Around 8.40pm emergency services responded to reports of a house on fire on Cadbury Road.
Tasmania Fire Service crews extinguished the fire which had fully engulfed the house.
A fire scene examination is being undertaken, with the fire believed to have been deliberately lit.
