The results of the Local Government Election held on Saturday 4 December 2021 have been declared.
Cr Sharon Cadwallader was announced as the new Mayor of Ballina Shire on Monday 20 December, and today the following councillors have been officially elected:

Note: results are ordered in sequence of election.
The results for A Ward, B Ward and C Ward were announced by the NSW Electoral Commission from 9am this morning.
Councillors are elected to Ballina Shire Council until the next ordinary election of the Council in September 2024.
