Residents who are passionate about making a meaningful difference across the Greater Geelong region are invited to express their interest in joining the Community Grants Assessment Panel.
Panel members play an important role in assessing grant applications and ensuring funding is directed to projects that deliver positive outcomes for the community.
The City’s Community Grants program supports local projects, programs, activities and events that strengthen community wellbeing, build capacity and respond to local needs.
The independent panel is responsible for ensuring the grants process remains fair, transparent and community focused.
Individuals with relevant skills and experience in community development, volunteer organisations, the arts, environment, or events industries, and financial and project management are encouraged to apply.
The City is recruiting up to eight new panel members to serve for three years.
Expressions of Interest close at 11.59pm on Wednesday 19 August.
