Far West Rangeland Rehydration Alliance field day, presented by Western Landcare

Landholders and community groups interested in making improvements to the landscape and their local environment are encouraged to attend an upcoming field day where topics relating to landscape, soil health and having a planned approach, will be covered.

With many landholders in the Western Division of NSW continuing to deal with dry seasonal conditions, the challenges of dehydrated soils and high levels of erosion are coming more commonplace, impacting on primary production and biodiversity, both on individual properties and in local communities.

The field day, which is being held in White Cliffs on Saturday 17 July, will give attendees an opportunity to hear from a number of expert speakers, as well as partake in a property tour to view some of the areas where rangeland rehabilitation work has been carried out.

  • Dr Hugh Pringle (Ecosystem Management Understanding™ founder)
  • Dr Susan Orgill (NSW Department of Primary Industries)
