Major Crash Officers are investigating a fatal crash at McLaren Vale last night.
About 11.10pm, Saturday 19 October, police and SA Ambulance were called to Victor Harbor Road near the intersection of Seaview Road after reports two pedestrians had been struck by a car.
Sadly a woman aged 59 from Allenby Gardens died at the scene. A man also aged 59 from Allenby Gardens was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Holden Utility a 78-year-old man from Willunga was taken to hospital with minor injuries and is assisting police with their investigation.

The road toll is 87 compared to 57 at the same time last year.
