Live music is set to return to the Mildura Arts Centre (MAC) lawns this week with the second Twilight event of 2023.

Following on the back of the successful first event of the year last month, February’s Twilight will feature a packed line-up of acts headlined by Iwan & Andrea, starting at 5pm this Friday, 17 February.

The duo will be joined by a host of special guests including Lilliana Bertalli, Alice Siale, Soebardi Six String Surfers, Trinity Rock Band (Tiger Loves Chicken), Three Piece Feed (Jack and Cody Morrish), and the Soul Brothers (Iwan Soebardi, Steve Parr, Luke McCarthy and Jack Morrish).

Councillor for Arts, Culture and Heritage Helen Healy said the huge line-up shared a common thread.

“The seven acts to feature at his month’s Twilight really showcase the rich pool of musical talent we’re so fortunate to enjoy in our region,” Cr Healy said.

“They’re also friends, fellow educators and current and previous students, giving them a common bond, in addition to their obvious musical talent.

“Twilight is the perfect setting for locals and visitors alike to gain an appreciation for their talents, all the while enjoying a free night of live entertainment in a relaxed setting on the Mildura Arts Centre lawns.”

Platters, snacks and drinks can be purchased from the VISTA Cafe Bar at MAC or from Verdict Catering, which will be operating on-site.

There will also be free art activities for children, making it the perfect night out for families.

People are encouraged to bring along their own blanket or chair to make themselves comfortable if they wish.
